This work is based on Prosecution exhibit P1160 in the case against Radovan Karadžić at the U.N. International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia. The piece of evidence was a postcard used to prove the existence and appearance of a mosque in Bosnia before its destruction in 1992. This work restores the document to its original status as a postcard while preserving the traces of its use as evidence. It is an unlimited edition installed as a functioning postcard stand in a commercial space, such as a museum bookshop, rather than an exhibition space.
